Volunteer

Year-after-year our volunteers return, and we welcome them with open arms. From helping during build week, to making our wanderers feel at home, the festival wouldn’t be possible without our hard-working vollies.

Make art!

Artists are encouraged to consider themes of home and space, country and wandering. Possibilities include temporary 3D or 2D installations, spoken word, projections and interactive artworks. Happy Wanderer aims to be a zero waste festival. Sustainability, caring for our water, earth and creatures is very important to us.

Run a Workshop!

Are you an early morning yogi or a sultry afternoon songstress who loves to share? Opportunities are available to facilitate a workshop (or 2!) at Happy Wanderer 6. Previous workshops have include craft, acrobatics and dance. The scope is as wide as your imagination.

Feed our wanderers

Each year the festival attracts upwards of 500 hungry mouths. We love meeting the people behind great food vans.
