Happy Wanderer Festival hosts residency at the Gaso
Wanderers! We were aching for a trip and October 30 is too far on the horizon, so we're bringing a bit of the good stuff to Melbourne this September with a Happy Wanderer Festival Sunday residency at The Gasometer Hotel.
Collaborating with artists from around Australia, the line-up is a morsel of what we'll be feasting on in Benalla October 30 - November 2.
Tickets can be purchased through Oztix for $14.80 ($12 + bf), or $15 on the door.
Wander with us.
Week 1 - September 6
Wander along a hazy journey of alt-country dreamscapes with James Kenyon, launching his new single.
Born and raised in South Australia, and now living in Melbourne, James' song writing is a view from a car or a busted metal bridge or a window in a hall.
James will be supported by Manny Fox' enigmatic, pop, afro-beats and the doo-wop, bluesy rhythms of singer-songwriter Emilee South.
Week 2 - September 13
Shake your tail feather with the new Motown funk of Melbourne’s That Gold Street Sound.
They’ll be sweetening up the Gaso stage with supports Mocane, bringing grooves and blues from Tasmania, and rock n’ soullers The Sugarcanes.
Doors open 6pm.
Line-ups for weeks 3 and 4 to be announced.
